The 7AT in the 370Z gives me so much more confidence when driving hard than the 6MT ever did in the 350Z. Not to mention the 7AT version is so damn quick with little to no chance of missing a shift. Remember that the 7AT is adaptive to your driving style so a test drive is going to feel different than when you've been flogging it for 2 months.

Also, leave the traction control on and the system will keep you from spinning out (unless you do something stupid). I have to admit that I chicken out well before the car gets unsettled. The back end comes out very smoothly and ends up in just the right place.
