I don't get any drone. I have non res w/ stock cats. And I daily drive as well. It is quite loud when you get on it. Everyone will hear you. Idling it's not bad at all. Go for the non res. it's perfect therapy after a long day of work

plus you get all those nice gurgly sounds when decelerating
