I have raced to 175ish a few times, but my comfort zone for full throttle speeds on the stock engine is in the 150s.

I feel like the power I am making is already stress enough on the connecting rods and pistons. Adding in all the accelerative resistance from aero and gearing, I fear that somewhere in there I might be approaching the point where bending the rods becomes easier work than quickly accelerating the crankshaft. I dont usually stay in the throttle heavy in 6th gear for very long... and I dont usually have the space to bring it way up there slowly.
