New Owner, New Member - From Detroit
I've admired the Z's from afar for quite some time, but just recently pulled the trigger on one. It's a 2011 Touring with the 7AT that I bought used with just 14,000 miles on it.
First thing on my list of things to do is to get the windows tinted. I've got the Llumar film I want installed already, just trying to find a shop that will install it (the shops I have found don't install film supplied by customers... they say they've been burned too many times in the past). So if anyone knows of a good tint shop around Detroit, please let me know.
I'm still trying to sort out exactly what my end goal is for the build, it's largely dependent on coming up with a solution to a little problem I have... I'm 6'5" and whereas I can fit pretty comfortably in the cabin, I only have ~1/2" of space between my head and the headliner. I would love to take the car to a track or at least autocross it, but I don't think I can fit with a helmet on. Anyone have any suggestions??
