It is a non-issue. The whole point of any action here was to show support. I think we accomplished that regardless of where the donation ended up.
It sounds like Lukas is fairly well balanced between optimism and reality.
I will say that the following for consideration.
Anyone who has seen serious illness walks away with a few eye-opening insights.
Physicians are not infallible. Nor do they all consistently operate under the pretense of Hippocratic oath. I have also met several that were outright morons. ha ha
I remember reading about one Doctor who openly admitted that when dealing with a major illness he always gave the harshest prognosis.
If he gave an optimistic prognosis and things took a turn for the worse, the physician and hospital could be open to potential litigation.
So just because someone says something does not make it fact. Nor does everything in the universe work out as expected.
The one guarantee is you will fail at anything as soon as you stop trying.
