This morning, it took two or three tries but it finally sputtered to life. When it was off though, the reading was at 10. Tried it again to run to the post office for work and it started on the first try but it took a while.

how many seconds does the car try to crank to start? cause it is not considered unusual to crank up to 10-15sec on normal key ignition cars.
or are letting go of the brake pedal? it takes a lot of amps to start the car... best you try to start it in one try.
