So if we are going complete history...
First car at 16 was an early 60's Fiat 600 with an 850 spyder engine in it. It just faded away...
1968 MGB (got married...sold ... then divorced... crap)
1968 El Camino (327, 325 hp, fun, until a tie rod end broke and it went over an embankment, never the same after that)
78 Ford F150 (yea, well... again, got married)
Nissan Pickup, late 80's (traded for my dad's ...
1988 Jeep Comanche 4.0L (My dad couldn't drive anymore but their church needed a pickup. Traded for a new...
1999 Dodge Dakota 4x4 (crappy Dodge 318 and running gear. Traded for a new...
2002 Dodge Dakota 4x4 (DD) (NOT crappy Jeep 4.7L and running gear)
2002 Nissan Altima (Sold to CarMax)
2008 Hyundai Elantra (gave it to our son)
Z
The Z will likely be my last new car. I like this thing a lot. I have the Dakota 4x4 and the Z and my wife has the 2012 Altima sedan. What more do I need. My favs
#1 The Z hands down
#2 Tie between the El Camino and the MGB. I had great fun with both. Maybe because I had great fun with many girls with both.
#3 Tie between Jeep Comanchee and the 2002 Dakota 4x4
#4 Tie between all the rest of the crap. Fiat was always dead beside road, the F150 was characterless, as was the Nissan pickup. While the Altima was fairly spry on the road it was the gutless wonder that the Elantra could not keep up with. The 1999 Dakota was a schizo for me. I loved the lsd and the 4wd, but the gearing and tranny just made it a dog. Fun in the wet and on the trail but the rest of the time... eh.
