Hello Z Family!
I've been passing by the forums for far too long, and well I just couldn't resist.
I'm a Z enthusiast, it started when my eldest brother bought a mint red 91 300zx TT over 17 yrs ago. Then, can you imagine, he let me drive when I was 16 while he went on vacation for a week -
! Needless to say, after taking his beauty to the prom, and stomping around the grounds, I was sold.
Went from owning camaros to 300zs and never looked back.
I loved the way the car stuck to the road but can drift when given the right variables. Roller coasters are so far away, but this car put me in my seat with glee. Lol. No longer was driving a bore, it was exhilarating. Mountain rides from Sac to Reno & Tahoe became second nature. Cruising at wonderful speeds through winding turns...anyways
I do enjoy the drive. As long as it's safe... And I feel safer in my Zs.
There have been many a time when some crazy on the road pulls a nut stunt and the Z cars, have unbelievable dodge capability!
So what did I own? Ok, started with a 91 300zx red w/ t- tops ( yep they leaked sometimes...but we're worth the trouble ) No turbos, what a disappointment.
She still shined up great though, red with chrome oem nissan wheels, classic.
When I moved to HI in 05, I sold the Z, couldn't take it but when I got back to Cali a few years later, I Scored an 03 silver 350z MT. I enjoyed that one so much upgraded to an 05 black w/ chrome rims the next year.
I waited a few more years, then upgraded once again to the 09 370z silver sport coupe. My wife and I had many good times on road trips to Monterey, Oregon, Washington, wine country in Cali and wherever else we could travel for fun...
My latest Z is perhaps the most impressive out of my collection.
6k miles - 13 370z magnetic black touring sport coup. Since then I've only had time for a few upgrades: K&N Cold air typhoon, custom true dual cat back exhaust with blue tips, tinted out to the max, debadged with Chrome Z emblems and a SB to kill acceleration lag.
See you on the streets.
