Default Racelogic Group Buy Feeler, Part 2

This is just a feeler thread to see if there is any interest in another group buy for the Racelogic traction control system. There are going to be a few things different about this offer.

1) There will only be one option for the DIY
2) There will be two options for PnP
i)PnP Canbus with black digital adjuster, launch control, patch harness, prewired. Some basic wiring skills required for hooking up power and ground. Pricing includes everything required, shipped to your door (North America). $1900

ii)PnP Analog with black digital adjuster, launch control, no lift shift, WSS adaptors, Patch harness, prewired. Medium wiring skills required as some splicing (4 wires) will be involved on top of power and ground. Pricing includes everything required, shipped to your door (North America). $2400

ii)DIY Analog with black digital adjuster, launch control, no lift shift, WSS adaptors, 12v to 5v, resistors, shipped to your door (North America). Customer responsible for getting their own patch harness, and wiring. $2000

More info on the DIY can be found on the old thread: Racelogic Traction Control System

Before my inbox gets flood with questions, I am going to try and proactively answer some I think will come up.
1) Q)The pricing seems more expensive then the last one
A) The new pricing reflects the price increase that Racelogic had effective August 1st. The pricingnow also includes the patch harness, materials, and labour for assembly.

2 Q) Is the no lift shift worth the extra money
A) In my opinion it is, but it would honestly depend on the application being used. If you are doing a lot of tracking (especially with a boosted application) the no lift shift is a must. The fact that your boost is held at peak while you are shifting is guaranteed to speed up your times. If you just like driving hard, you will get the same effect.

3 Q) Can't I just powershift?
A) Yes you can, but the no lift shift eliminates a lot of the negatives that come with power shifting. The margin of error on power shifting is small, where the no lift shift will increase that margin by reducing the amount of load on your transmission allowing the syncro's to mesh much easier. I believe ruining the syncro's in our transmission means replacing, which is costly.

4Q) Is the Racelogic really that much better than the factory VDC?
A) Its night and day. The racelogic is designed to cut one injector pulse at a time. This is MS at a time. Compare that to the factory system which is a few seconds at the time, there is no bogging feeling, and if you're in boost it will not have a negative effect as the pulses from the remaining injectors will continue to spool the turbo.

5)Q) I have an AT transmission. Can I get the system without the launch control?
A) The canbus system only comes with the digital adjuster and the launch control. There is an analog version without, but by the time you add the WSS adaptors and extra wiring it is not worth switching the system. If you are brake boosting at all, the launch control may come in handy with maintaining the RPM as it should sense movement and not gearing.

6Q) What is everything included?
A) When I say everything, I mean double sided tape, zip ties, resistors, 12v to 5 v converters, wiring. It will all be in the box when you open it!
I will add more questions as I receive them, but these were always the most common. If you would like to purchase the system without assembly or patch harness, send me a PM and we will work out pricing.

To all *STAFF* Im well aware of the "Group Buy" restrictions.

I will be in touch with *AK* immediately if I have enough interest as the first group buy did.
