On the oil filter placement have you twisted it off in position on the car? sometimes you have to watch the clearance to the bottom when it is being loosened so that in your case when you go to take it off the corner doesn't get stuck on your oil pan. Hard to tell in the pics if it is in front of the pan or right on the side of it.

Yes agreed to all the points above..on the oil filter it goes on and off with ease it does come close but with the oil filter I picked it's perfect. But I do see you point. I could make the plate go up alil to make some more clearance. ..thanks for the advice...
