Yep if you are on the road by your lonesome or at "ludicrous speed" any radar detector will not help you against a laser. That being said... I never speed without my V1.

In Virginia detectors are illegal so a remote (turns off the obvious lights and gauges on the detector itself) is a must in my opinion. I have the
old school one that world work wonderfully if this car had a 12V adapter anywhere near the driver Looks like the remote will have to be velco'd to where I can easily reach it
