I haven't had anything NEW to add till NOW

Finally got around to insulating the intakes to hopefully help in lowering the air intake temps.

I know the intakes would get extremely hot to the touch and so I can only hope this will help some.

I also cleaned out both throttle bodies while I was at it.

29k And they needed some cleaning.

Ordered it from Summit

The thermaflect sleeve slipped over the piping with the filter fine, But I had to customize the thermaflect sleeve piece nearest the intake as you can see why.

I had to removed the sewed stitches off those pieces so I could add the cut outs for the both the mass sensor and the smog piping.

Since I had no way to sew it back together I used aluminum metal tape to seal the seams that were once sewed.

I think it came out pretty good, and like I said Im hoping the intake air temps will be a little lower with these thermaflect sleeves.
