Default Painting frp, with Automotive Touch Up products.

Hey y'all. Any of you guys have experience with painting frp with aerosol products? I recently just bought a carbon signal frp front lip from another member here. I don't want to spend a grip of money on paint and prep so I'm planning to do it myself. Have any of you guys had experience with Automotive Touch Up. Here is a link;

My buddy used it on his graphite S2k and paint match was spot on. Now my question is should I use an adhesion promoter for my front lip? I know adhesion promoter is for mainly for urethane and plastic materials but is it necessary for frp materials?

I once had a ShineAutoProject lip for my rx7 back in the day and that did not require an adhesion promoter. Any advice on this or experience with product is greatly appreciated. Thanks
