1) The prototype is said to have been lower than the version that will go to production, so clearance issues should be resolved.
2) I see what you are saying, but
listen very closesly when the scrape occurs. I've never heard metal scrape that sounds like that. It sounds very, very similar to when I scrape the plastic chin spoiler of my car on the ground. It sounds much more like plastic than metal. Not that in really matters anyways
