That's all in line with what I expected.
Really, once dried and re-oiled, if there's a problem, it's because either (a) the engine was turned over before towed with water taken in then or (b) they somehow manage to leave water inside that either causes hydrolock or causes oil separation and thus damages the motor when they start it up.
Otherwise -- you just have to see about water damage to interior.
I think this will all work out -- it sucks right now, but you are pretty well covered all the way around. Again, good luck!
