Default Air flow test (drop-ins)

After a ton of reading all the CIA vs Drop-in threads and reading all the info on drop-ins with MAF tubes. I decided to do my own test on K&N drop-ins and Z1 MAF tubes to see if they increase air flow vs. the OEM filters and air tubes.

I bought a PLX Kiwi that I've been playing around with so I thought I would put it to good use. Using the Dash Command app I can get MAP (mass air pressure) measured in kPa and MAF (mass air flow) measured in lb/min.

I started the baseline test with stock OEM filter and air intakes, took a screen shot at idle, ~4000 rpm (not moving), ~5000 rpm in 2nd gear and again ~5000 rpm in 3rd. These are my numbers, in order from top to bottom.

I'll repeat the same with K&N filters installed and then again when I install the Z1 MAF tubes.
