I just use normal Rainx glass cleaner on both sides of the window. For the inside, I spray liberally onto microfiber towel, wipe down, and then I buff dry with a separate clean towel.

The only residue that I notice is if I did a terrible job at cleaning or after a few weeks or no washing.
