Finished the install. Put the amp behind the driver's seat and use automotive trim double sided tape to mount it. Cheesy, I know, but it works and it can be undone with damage.

I put $350 into the system with sub, amp and wire kit. Plenty of bottom end for me. Way more than the stock system. Tapping into the sub wires into the speaker level input on the amp worked perfectly.
