Travel gets better, or at least more bearable, when one achieves high status levels with an airline, hotel and rental car company.
I like the fact that I have become good at travel and I am efficient at it -- this helps reduce stress and anxiety.

It has it's pros/cons as with any job. I can tell you one thing, if the pay/perks weren't significantly better than an equivalent industry position, I wouldn't be doing it. Also, accumulating a bunch of airline miles and hotel points = free hotel for personal travel.
It is hard to get every thing done/ see everyone you want to see when you're only home 3/7 days. There are weeks where I wish I was able to come home every night but you do what you have to do!
