Yep, that was me. I had a guy on the south side of Chicago fabricate the pipes and tips. Total cost was about $160 and 2 hours of work. The sound was intoxicating...especially the idling and low throttle 'burble'. Damn I miss that. The problem was that at 3500 to 4500 RPM, it was so loud and droning that I thought my ears would bleed.

For anyone interested, I had it done by Tom at One Stop Muffler in East Chicago. I've since swapped it for a Stillen CBE. The Stillen still sounds great but not as loud and without any drone. It's lost the race car exotic sound but still sounds great. With the custom pipes and muffler delete, anyone within 3 blocks of me would turn their head and try to see what supercar was about to pass them by . (they were positive stares, not the pissed off stares)

Tips were SS and 4" diameter I think (slightly smaller than the 4.5" Stillen tips). The pipes for the delete were aluminum...nothing special except for a flange and the tips welded on. This car just wants to sound like a beast without anything special needing to be done to get it that way.
