I think enough people have given this a thumbs up but what's one more. After picking up a Z a couple days ago, introduction on the forum and further details forthcoming, I thought at first the clutch was just stiff and the car was just new to me so was just rusty and I'd get used to it. Well after 12+hrs of continuos driving it still felt numb and the engagement point mysterious. I thought I had lost my mojo despite driving a stick off and on for the last 18yrs. Decided to look it up and found this thread. Immediately removed the spring (was super easy) and went for a drive.

Night and day difference. The feel is there now. Easing on the throttle is much easier and predictable. Incline starts are also very much improved.

Considering ease of mod to measuable benefit, I'm not sure it gets better than this.

Thanks everyone. Looking forward to being part of the community here. Seems like a great group and theres not much that hasn't been covered.
