Here's the link to the G37 site....

High-Pitch/Frequency Noise Poll. - Page 16 - MyG37

Look back a few days...a couple of the members have been recording the sound on laptops and iphones and running it thru spectrum analyzers. You'll see that the actual sound graphs were posted and both show the noise at 10kHz. I hate this noise with a passion, so I'm looking for help from the Nissan side since you guys are having the same issue. When it really comes down to it, who really cares about all the "mods" etc. on either forum as long as we have this issue that ruins our cars. For non-believers, read the charts on the G37 site then go to the 10kHz post site that one of your fellow members posted earlier and see if you can hear the noise. If you can't hear the noise on the site, you still may have the issue and others who ride with you may be able to hear it and hate your ride due to the noise. You can always download the app to your iphone and check to see if you have the same issue.

I'm like all of you, sick of posts that are going nowhere where members report taking their cars in and someone them they are "aware of the problem and working on a fix", while never mentioning a service manager's name or a specific dealer. With the sound analyzing tools, we now can not only prove there is a noise via a spectrum analyzer, but thru actual recordings of the aggravating sound. What do you think Nissan and Infiniti would do if all of us went showed up for service with actual live proof that there is a problem? We wouldn't get the "can't replicate issue" and "you'll have to schedule an appointment with the service manager to see if he can hear the noise" responses.

Is any of this making sense to anyone?
