i doubt it's clutch slap, i have been trying to hold my peace on this but I'm finding it hard to believe someone can discover a hard to diagnose thing like clutch slap, without knowing a clutch has it's own hydraulics system. I call either first manual car or just not a mechanic at all, really not trying to be mean but it doesn't make sense.

Also i should add that "clutch slap" usually only happens on multiplate clutches

And form the description it sounds like you have discovered the dual mass flywheel thump,clunk, which is common and not a problem, as for the hard 1-2 shift, these things shift like **** the synchros suck get used to it it's normal as bad as that is to say.
