I've known so many people that seem to forget that they even have side view mirrors. They don't know what they are for, so they never pay any attention to them. These are the same people that are hilarious to watch backing up a box truck or something else with no back window. They have no idea what to do.
Usually, if I happen to drive their vehicle, I'll just set them so that they work for me, and let them figure it out from there.
