I agree, there is a lot of depth to the sport which is why I am hooked as well. This season in particular has a lot of parity resulting from the rule changes. It is obvious since there is pretty much a new winner every week

I came at it the opposite way; my dad used to race and he is from Indiana (smoke fan too of course) so I remember watching the Indy 500 and Daytona when I was little. It hasn't been until recent that I have been watching F1 and Indy racing regularly. Let's just say I am disappointed that they can't figure out to actually have a race with those beautiful, expensive cars.

The biggest thing that got me into NASCAR was to pick a driver. My dad liked Earnhardt, so I decided to go with Jr. the year before he went Winston Cup full time. Now I cheer with half of the fan base, but I like Edwards and Truex too. I half to pull for Gordon since my mom loves the rainbow leprechaun.

Lot's of good personalities in NASCAR....I even like some of the "bad guys".

I am predicting that either Biffle or Kyle Busch will win this week at Dover.
