We may need a little more info to help diagnose.

Did you buy these new from Z1?

The lines should not have been pre-tightened if you bought them new. If used, then maybe the previous owner did something wacky like put loctite or tape on the threads (which you are not supposed to do).

Does it look cross threaded? Post a picture as that will help us help you.

Are you using a flare nut wrench? Hold the brass block with pliers and just torque that sob!...lefty loose

Good luck OP and I hope nothing is damaged. Brake lines are a safety component so don't take any chances if you think they are suspect after reinstall.
