Yeah, tread life could make it an issue...it's possible that could offset the price difference but I gotta believe that driving habits would play a role in that. If you're not pushing the tires hard, I'm not sure that the tread life difference is there. I do believe that given
my driving needs in daily driving and my driving skill, the performance difference is likely to be minimized and not worth the cost difference. I'm guessing. Maybe I'd be enjoying the PSS more, but in 1100 miles with the S-04s, I can't say I've felt a difference in handling compared to the 15,000 miles I spent with the OEM RE050As.
