Well the way this car is setup, you dont get your HP peak/powerband until 7000rpms. Torques peak is at 5200rpm. This motor was built as a high reving engine. I always shift a little after the powerband. Most people when they race shift at the powerband, + or -
But I aint saying its not damaging the engine. Just saying the engine was built to handle it.
