you can also buy pre-cut ones from xpel ultimate if you want to go that route. those will selfcure small scuffs.

As the great mr. kenchan states, there should be no concerns with the 10mm/15mm set-up. That's what I was running before I removed the spacers. No issues at all with additional road debris.
