I hear ya

The first time I did the differential and transmission fluid changes on the Z, I was at my buddy's place using his ramps. We did it on an incline such that having one set of wheels on ramps made the car level with enough room under the car by the ramps. For safety, we put jack stands under the car as well. After the transmission flush, we needed to turn the car around to do the differential. Backing it off the ramps, I hear a loud metal bang and scrape - we forgot to take the jack stands out

Live and learn, right? Apparently not

My buddy was driving it off the ramps after doing the differential flush and same $hit - we forgot to remove the jack stands
