Yeah they teach you that at HPDE events to look far ahead ...I guess it's the perspective in videos shot watching a car go through a course as a spectator would see it ...

I read somewhere else that finding a spot on your hood that would equal right and left NOT smacking a cone and kind of aim using those marks.
