that is a star nut. actually my seat base use to shift so i removed the seat from the floor (didnt even unplug the srs), placed the seat on its side inside the car, and took an impact socket and mallet to bang the stock star nut in further.

no issue since then.

i have spare star nuts in my parts bin for future if needed. 87182-1EA1A (2pc needed)
make sure to painter's tape part of the center console and e-brake handle so you dont accidentally scuff them during the rework.
