I support the vehicle by placing the jack stands underneath the frame of the vehicle. I'm by no means a professional mechanic, so do this at your own risk and be sure to research yourself. Below are some pictures you may find helpful.

I dont think Stino has placed the front jack point in the correct area, I made a comment in that picture of his in the above gallery link you posted. I was under the impression to raise the front you need to use the front cross member according to the service manual diagram.
