First I'd ask a mod to retitle the thread to include the word "wheel" and maybe some other descriptive words that actually address the contents of the thread so we know what you're talking about, and then I'd contact a local wheel refinishing company to see if it's fixable. If not, you have to make the decision if it's worth replacing. Since you didn't include any pictures, we all have different ideas about what "small and unnoticable" means.
