I've read that we need to use a LOC if you have a Bose system...and it is best to tap into the unfiltered low level voltage signal...however some have talked about LOCs being designed for high level signal (post amp), not LL voltage signal. Is this true? Will the LOC still work with the LL voltage signal? Will volume control work correctly as well?
Also, where are you all tapping for the amp remote? Also, where did you tap for the 12v source needed for the LOC?
Finally, are there any suggestions for a inexpensive LOC? This will be just operating a sub...so I don't need an extremely expensive one.
Thanks!

For $100 I would suggest to you the Audio control LC2i converter.
You can use this converter with low level (prior to amp) OR high level (after amp) inputs, but not both at the same time.
Yes, once you have it set up properly, your volume control will work as it should.
Amp remote can come from any switched 12volt source, try your powered antenna lead. You will not need one for the LC2i, it has a signal sensing turn-on feature, so all you need is 12v from battery for it, which you could tap off your main power from battery to amp.
Perhaps including the information that you tried the search prior to your post would have gotten better results the first time around. I was not trying to come off like a dic%head. (unlike you in your reply).
Hope this helps
