I had the AAM short tails combo with the AAM-S Line mid pipes.
Performance was there and really noticeable. But after a good 6-7 weeks i swapped out the short tails. At some points the exhaust note can sound pretty cool but at WOT its a whole different story. Kinda got annoying lol. Plus with this combo it wasn't a perfect fit. I don't know how loud it would be since you have HFC added.

If you're looking to not spend a lot but want some bit of gains with the short tails. I would suggest the Nismo exhaust (just the mid and y pipe). Probably cost $150-300 which should fit your budget
