Hey Everyone,

I don't know if anyone else has had this issue. I tried doing a search and didn't come up with anything so it might be an isolated incident but the service person at my Nissan dealership said that he's had a few Zs come in for it so I thought I'd bring it up.

The headliner on my driverside isn't seated properly. The edge is poking up and I can feel the inside edge of the liner by reaching up and running my fingers along the edge of it. So far everything inside the cabin looks normal, you can't tell there's an error if you're sitting in the driver seat and just looking at it. And because of the angle of your view when you're standing outside the car you wouldn't be able to tell either. I never would have noticed if I didn't accidently rest my hand on it one day. The only way to get a good look at it is to crouch a little bit from outside the vehicle (most people are probably never in this position) and look up at the edge of your headliner.

Just wanted to point this out, unfortunately I didn't think to take a picture of it and I'm sitting at the dealership while they're trying to sort it out. After they fix it I'll atleast take a picture of the area and point out where the separation is in more detail.

Which brings me to my next point. Because of the fragile nature of headliners I've come to the dealership 3 times now and each time I've sat on my arse for 4 hours only for the service guy to come out and tell me the replacement piece was damaged during transit and they're going to order another one. This time I told them to check the bloody thing before asking me to come in so hopefully they've got it. We'll see.
I noticed and posted prior to searching as I have this issue too. The edge of the headliner on driver side above door window is not fully seated under the rubber door frame strip. I tried to no avail to remove and reseat.

Any solutions , was yours fixed by Nissan?
