Incredible picture quality! Yes, full 1080p (or even 1080i) is amazing! My satellite provider has almost 100 HD channels.... I'm having fun! (I had only "farmer vision" ie: over the air and only 5 channels
) The audio is also amazing. I couldn't quite do the exact surround sound set-up, but it's real close.
