It wasn't my plan
My dad was already planning to give his Rav4 to my sister. Then they needed to figure out whether they were going to keep her Accord or her husband's Civic. The decided to keep the Civic and gave the Accord back to my parents (the title is still in my parents' name).
We're probably six weeks out before my dad purchases his new car. Once it happens though, I'll take possession of the Accord, transfer the title to my name, and add it to my insurance
