Well both are 6lbs so I save half haha. Yeah that does make sense. I'm going all FIA so I have to be secure and safe. And I'm looking at corbaeu sport forza FIA seats for $314 retail. The base has holes in it so fingers crossed they will fit the seat holes on the bottom. If they don't then I need to decide if I want to weld side rails to the floor or buy both base and sides and have to spend more and more weight. Or I could drill out a hole in the base to match the seat holes... hmmm
