Default Am I Right Here? Paint Question

Alright, last one - I promise (I've posted a few threads regarding my collision repair).

So my car gets rear-ended, they painted the bumper. They put the "370Z" emblems back on the car. I planned on removing this emblem in the future for, what some consider, the ricey "FAIRLADY Z" emblem. Or perhaps just leave it emblem-less. not sure yet.

Point is, I forgot to tell the bodyshop to leave the emblems off (mah bad?). When I take the car home, I remove the emblem with some goo gone just as I have on all my other cars no problem. Lo and behold, there is some ghosting from when they buffed the car around the emblems. "ghosting", to me at least, is when you can see a difference in the clear coat - basically you can still see where the 370Z was because the clear has a different shine than the rest of the bumper.

IN MY OPINION, the bodyshop should have buffed the entire bumper BEFORE putting the emblems on. after all, the idea is to leave the car in "like-new" condition. like-new to me means that if i wouldve removed the emblems prior to the accident, no ghosting would have occured. same thing should happen post-accident, right?

so what are your thoughts? is this really my fault? do i have a case?
bodyshop told me they corrected "most" of it so i have yet to see the car. i just want to make sure i go in with my guns in case they need to redo it.
