So I'm going to tweak my new battery tie down I think. It's all chrome, which is just a bit much for my taste - makes me glad 1/3 of it is hidden under the plastic surround.

First, it's supposed to be polished, but there's just too many marks. I'm hoping I can polish it up better than new

Second, I'm thinking I'l paint the Z portion in KAD (Gun Metallic color code). I wonder if it would be easiest to just use the Nissan touch up paint I have or better to go through taping it off to spray. Open to other suggestions on painting as well

This is not mine, but it is a very good example of what I have. You can see the swirls in the flash reflection - I can get those out right?
