1. Good that you yelled at the mgmt for towing your car. There's no reason they couldn't contact you, they had all the information they needed and it's not like you never parked there before and it was an unfamiliar car.

3. Get a car alarm with a tilt sensor! Wheel locks only keep the honest people honest. Park in well lit spaces when possible. Turn your front wheels all the way to the left or right so the can't get them off.
There are a few ways to properly tow a car without wheels the most effective being a dolly and a standard tow truck.
