As folks here have said, this is a track car version of the Camaro. You pay more for the others, but you also get longer lasting tires, more driveability, AC, a better stereo, etc.
I think the Z28 is impressive as hell, but let's be real, it's a track toy. More practical than an Ariel Atom, but not as liveable as a GTR or 911.
I mean, I do believe the price for performance argument is a valid one, but this isn't a completely apples-to-apples comparison. The GT2/GT3 Porsches are the stripped down track versions of the 911.
But hey, I drive a RWD chevy with an LS7 engine, so I'm biased
