Default Clutch Remedy

Does anyone know if a TSB exists recommending that, if an owner complains of a spongy clutch pedal, the first solution is to replace the stock DOT 3 clutch fluid with the GTR DOT 4 fluid? I recall reading in a number of posts that this was the procedure followed by several dealerships in an attempt to fix the problem. In some cases, it appeared to work; in others, it didn't (... with the next step being the replacement of the master cylinder and/or CSC). Anyway, I just need to know whether a TSB was issued, and if so, what the link is. Thanks!
