It depends on whether they keep their Accord or their Civic. I'd take the Accord but not the Civic because I know the condition of both cars. Honestly, an Accord coupe isn't any more practical than the Z. But it would be free (except for title and insurance of course), and it would allow me to keep the miles off the Z

If I had two cars to myself, my preference would be to continue to daily the Z and purchase an SUV for when we need "practical". But I have no interest in spending the money to purchase an SUV or even operate one daily when I can just borrow one from family
