While this thread seems to be going hostile on you, I will put in my 2 cents.

You got a great deal on your 370z trade in (dirty carfax, they will most likely have to sell at auction, no enthutiast will ever buy a Z with a dirty carfax unless its free or 10$)

However..............
The price on the jeep is okay at best, but it does have 70k miles, when it hits 100k miles expect a pretty significant depreciation hit (psychologically, a car with 100k miles will have be a hard sell... unless its a rare ferrari or nsx)

Overall I'd say the dealer still made money from you.. how much? hard to say, but usually dealers make most money on used cars, i'd say they low balled the original jeep owner pretty hard and made at least 20-30% flipping it to you, now they are going to flip the 370z for another good profit (at least 10-15%)

remember... the house always wins - they are in it for the money, no manager will give away cash - they made money of this trade, only the dealer knows how much. I'd say they made at least 5-6k from this flip
