not to hate but i agree with de.50 on this, that much torque may not pop your motor but you did just drop down to a tenth or less of it's lifetime. Then again they may only use it once in a great while. I beat the chit out of my rides and fix or replace(in the case of the beaters) when they go. While the first motor suddenly lost all its oil and died, I know it was heavily worn before that happened, then the second motor was scored up for oil starve tracking, I melted the front rotors and pads under succsesive high speed braking, have gone through two manual transmissions from crunching the synchros racing, and burned up one rear end. I did all that NA If i go turbo its going to be around 400-450 whp and that is where it will stay. How much of a demand the driver places on the car has more to do with its life than any single other thing, but 550 torque is a hell of a lot of repetitive stress to ask of the factory rods that are were designed for HALF of that. It will blow after enough runs through that torque curve but it's a moot point, these guys are baller enough to blow 11k on a turbo kit they will just spend the cash when it comes time to rebuild.
