tl;dr: Finally getting something replaced under warranty after being denied.

( Click to show/hide )
After being told that my control arms weren't covered under my warranty because they accused me of causing the damage, I set up a claim with Nissan consumer affairs. They wanted me to take the vehicle in for an official diagnosis before proceeding with the case. Today I took her in to get that done. My usual service advisor went home early so I got a new one for today's appointment. After verifying that the original control arm was bad, now they say both fronts are bad. Apparently the bushings are worn and it all looks like normal wear and tear, not caused by any accidents. (I was accused of this by my previous service advisor.)
The advisor and I had a conversation recapping the previous visit and at first he stated that they can only do so much under the standard warranty, blah blah blah. I told him that's cool and all but I paid for an extended warranty when I purchased it. He then tried to say extended warranties sometimes don't cover suspension parts but he would check with someone there. He comes back and says it's covered and it should have been replaced back in September when I first brought it in.
They are ordering the parts and will replace under warranty asap. I've switched service advisors.
