They were extra. I actually didn't install the Quaife, my friend did (he is a mechanic that specializes in Zs) but I got to "help".
I like turning wrenches on my car but there are some things that I let the professionals do.
He was ecstatic about the install because he didn't have to shim it. The backlash was perfect on the first try.
